Spring '23 Recruitment

This past January, we hosted multiple recruitment events and a bid day event. From a Panhel-wide event to a DG specific event, we were able to welcome home 16 amazing new members!

The first event we hosted for Spring '23 recruitment was a Pahel-wide "Meet the Chapters" event. The event was hosted at the Michigan State Union. Each chapter at MSU set up a table at the Union with pictures, apparel, and fun ways to represent their chapter. Delta Gamma's table was a huge success! We had printed photos, DG letters, and other information about our chapter set up for potential new members to see. Our VP: Membership, Abby Ignatowski, and Director of COB, Mia Anthony, worked so hard getting ready for this event, and we could not be more thankful for them! After the Meet the Chapters event, we were so excited because we got to meet so many amazing girls who were interested in our chapter.

A couple days after the Meet the Chapters event, we hosted our own COB event at the Delta Gamma house. The theme was Cafe DG, and we provided cupcakes, cookies, coffee, and muffins for everyone to enjoy while they got to know each other. This event was also a huge success and we were so happy we got to meet so many amazing women!

In the following week, we extended bids to some of the potential new members we met. We were able to welcome home 16 new members, and we love them so much already! This past Sunday we hosted a Breakfast at DG bid day event for our new members! The theme was Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the decorations were the perfect Tiffany Blue! We had so much food including muffins, fruit, coffee, and croissants, and spent the morning getting to know our amazing new members. Huge shoutout to our VP: Membership, Gigi Goldberg, and our Director of New Members, Elli Leonard, for working so hard to make this day so special for our new members. We cannot wait to get to know the new members more in the coming months, and we are so happy they found a home in Delta Gamma!
