From philanthropy events to Spring COB to Greek Week and everything in between, this semester was filled with so many accomplishments! As a chapter, we would like to reminisce on these accomplishments and bring them to light!
Spring COB
This spring we hosted an informal COB event where PNMs came to the Delta Gamma house to meet some sisters, ask any questions, and get a house tour. We are so proud of our sisters for working so hard and recruiting 15 amazing new members! Our EVC also worked tirelessly to plan and execute the COB event and we could not be more thankful for them. Take a look at our "Spring '23 Recruitment" blog post to read more about the events!
Strike for Sight
We also hosted our second annual Strike for Sight bowling event at Spare Time Bowling. The day consisted of lots of bowling, Super Bowl squares, and fun! We were able to raise over $1,500 for Service for Sight from this event alone. We are so grateful for our VP: Foundations and our Foundations Directors for putting in so much work for this event. Check out our "Strike for Sight" blog post to learn more about the specifics of the event!

Anchor Tee
This April we hosted our first ever Anchor Tee philanthropy golf outing at Timber Ridge Golf Course. Our participants included family, friends, alumni, and other Greek Life members and we had so much fun watching the golfers compete for the big win! We also put on a raffle and were able to raffle off some amazing prizes thanks to our sponsors! We could not have put this event on without Maya Gulick (VP: Foundations), Gabby Dobernick (Director of Fundraising) and Abbey Basile and Grace Scamell (Co-Directors of Anchor Week). From this event alone, we were able to raise over $6,600 for Service for Sight! We are thrilled with the success we had on our philanthropy events this semester and are so happy to have been able to raise a grand total of over $15,000 for Service for Sight. We cannot wait to see what the fall holds for our philanthropic efforts!
Greek Week

In addition to the amazing DG Philanthropy events, we also participated in the Greek Life-Wide philanthropy event, Greek Week! The theme this year was music artists, so we were paired with Sigma Alpha Epsilon to represent Lady Gaga. This year, the Greek Week events inlcuded Greek Day of Service, where we made and donated tie blankets, a donation drive, fundraising, and the Spotlight dance competition. We placed second in fundraising and were able to donate over $13,000 to Spartan Strong. We ended up placing 3rd overall and we are so proud of all the hard work we put in! We could not have done it without our Greek Week chairs, Ava and Lainie, and we cannot wait for next years Greek Week!
House Renovations
This summer we have plans to execute multiple different renovations to the Delta Gamma chapter house! In the basement, we installed new floors and put together a committee of chapter members to work together to come up with designs for furniture and decorations! Along with a new basement, we also re-organized and re-vamped the study room to make it more cozy. We added a Keurig, lounge space, craft supplies and more so our sisters had a quiet place to study and relax. And last but certainly not least, we have plans to re-do the dormer this summer! We will be replacing the dormer with 4 new day rooms and we cannot wait to see the finished project!
Sisterhoods
This semester we also held multiple different sisterhood events! One of our favorites was the Pistons Game we attended at Little Caesar's Arena! We were able to get group tickets so we could all sit together and bond while enjoying the game. One of our other favorite sisterhood events from this semester was the spray painting sisterhood! Our amazing Director of Sisterhoods, Sheridan, bought plain white t-shirts, crewnecks, and sweatshirts along with spray paint so we could customize our own apparel. We loved getting to make our own DG apparel while also being together! <3
Sending off our Seniors
Last, but certainly not least, we had to say goodbye to some of our sisters. We are so sad to see them go, but we are so proud of everything they have accomplished in their time at MSU and as a collegiate member of Delta Gamma. We know their futures are so so bright and we cannot wait to see what else they go on to accomplish! We are so grateful to have had them as a shoulder to lean and a friend to laugh with in their time at MSU. We love you guys, you will always have a home a 365 N Harrison <3

We are so happy with all of the accomplishments we made this semester, and we cannot wait for what the fall holds! Make sure to check out our social media pages (Instagram and TikTok @deltagammamsu) to keep up with us this summer!
